PACE TO ELECT NEW PRESIDENT

Baku, 13 January (AzerTAc). With Lluis Maria de Puig coming to the end of his term of office, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is due to elect a new President in the next plenary session of the Assembly, to be held in Strasbourg from 25 to 29 January.
The only candidate to date is Turkish MP Mevlut Cavusoglu.
