Yemen, WB ease procedures to implement Hadramout infrastructure

SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba) - Yemen and WB discussed here on Tuesday the means of easing procedures to implement a number of infrastructure, development and service projects in Hadramout province by the WB.

Deputy Primer for Interior Affairs Sadeq Abu-Ras and the WB Senior Officer of Urban
and Social Development Sector Ali Khamis held talks on the importance of WB to
focus
on establishing barriers and walls needed to water drainage in addition to areas of
qualifying women.
For his part, the WB official briefed that the Bank allocated US$ 41 million to
implement a number of development and service projects linking with developing the
institutional
construction of local authority units in the desert and valley distracts, in Hadramout.
The allocated sum would be dedicated to establish special departments for early
warning and to tackle the natural disasters remnants.
