“LEPESTKY” ANTHOLOGY PUBLISHED IN PERM, RUSSIA

Baku, January 12 (AzerTAc). The “Lepestky” anthology compiled by Azerbaijani Ilham Aliyev and consisting selected works of Azeri writers was published in the Russian city of Perm. Ilham Aliyev who has graduated from the oriental faculty of the Baku State University considers that it is his honor to represent the culture and science of his Motherland everywhere. Opening with the national anthem of Azerbaijan and Russia, the book includes pieces from Azerbaijani eposes, folk songs, examples from the works by outstanding poets and thinkers of Azerbaijan.
The texts are partially provided with translations in Azeri and English languages.
