ABOUT MONGOLIA-INDIA JOINT COMMITTEE MEETING

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The 2nd meeting of the Mongolia-India joint committee of cooperation in politics, economy, trade, sciences, technology and culture was held January 1, 2010 in New Delhi, India.
At the meeting, the sides discussed works being done in accordance with line of the visit of Mongolia's President to India and ways of deepening the bilateral cooperation in the sectors of mineral resources, energy, IT, agriculture and defense.
Matters were also considered such as a term of an assistance granting project to be implemented by the Indian side, a construction of a building for the Mongolia-India joint secondary school and marking the 55th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations.
The meeting was co-chaired by Yo.Otgonbayar, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia; and Preneet Kaur, the Minister of State for External Affairs of India.
