AZERBAIJAN THRASH BRAZIL IN BURSA WORLD CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

Baku, January 12 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan chess team secured a 3.5-0.5 win over Brazil Monday in the seventh round of the world championship in Bursa, Turkey.
Teymur Rajabov, Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Rauf Mammadov beat Giovanni Veskov, Gilberto Milos, Andre Diamant respectively while Gadir Huseynov drew with Alexander Fier.
