AMBASSADOR TO CHINA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China Ts.Sukhbaatar presented Monday his letter of credence to China's President Hu Jintao.
After this ceremony, Mr Hu received the Ambassador and shared views with him on the development of the bilateral relations.
The Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with taking the post in times of passing some 60 years after the establishment of the Mongolia-China diplomatic relations. Sukhbaatar said he will work with great efforts to bring the ties into a new step by exploiting all-round possibilities for widening the cooperation in trade and economy.
He conveyed a greeting of Mongolia's President Ts.Elbegdorj to the Chinese President, and said Mongolia's State Head has a willingness to pay a visit to China this year. In addition, Mr Sukhbaatar said the Mongolian side hopes the Premier of the State Council of China Wen Jiabao would visit Mongolia in the near future.
In turn, Mr Hu underlined that the Chinese side attaches great importance to its relations with Mongolia. He said the China-Mongolia relationship occupies a leading position in policy of China's ties with its neighbor countries, and that the country intends to deepen the bilateral relations in all directions by exploiting their geographical advantage.
He emphasized that the Chinese side always wants to elevate the bilateral ties into a new level and steadily maintains the eternal friendly neighbors and partners policy.
