AZERBAIJAN OPENS NEW DIPLOMATIC REPRESENTATIONS ABROAD

Baku, 11 January (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan is going to open nearly 10 diplomatic representations abroad. Thus, Azerbaijan`s diplomatic network will be enlarged by embassies due to open in Serbia, Oman, Argentina, Thailand, Libya, Lebanon and Estonia; also Consulate General of Azerbaijan will open in Batumi, Georgia, according to Azeri Deputy Foreign minister Vagif Sadikhov. Today 65 diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan function abroad.
“Azerbaijan is expanding its relationship with the Arab countries. Last year Palestinian autonomy made a decision to open its diplomatic representation in Azerbaijan”, he said.
