Foreign Affairs Ministry upgrades officials on English skills
(KPL) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representing by the Foreign Affairs Institute, has held here a training course to upgrade English skills for 48 government officials from various departments within the ministry and provinces.
A closing ceremony of the training was held on Tuesday with the
participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Mr. Hiem Phommachanh.
Mr. Hiem expressed congratulations on the Foreign Affairs Institute and Lao and foreign teachers for their attention paid to teaching and upgrading government officials who work in foreign affairs and external relations sectors by improving their English skills.
The Foreign Affairs Institute in cooperation with relevant sectors has hold English training courses 2 times a year since 1997.
