PM receives Chinese business guests
(KPL) Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh on Tuesday at his office received Chinese business delegation, which led by President of Sino Australian Resources (Laos) Co. Ltd (SARCO) Mr Luo Tao.
Prime Minister expressed congratulations on the visit of SARCO delegation, which will contribute to enhancing friendship co-operation and relations between Laos and China, especially the cooperation on investment between both countries.
Mr. Luo Tao informed Prime Minister about that his company has interests in investing mining sector in Laos, especially in southern part of the country.
SARCO is a joint venture investment established in 2007 as a foreign private company in Laos owned by Ord River Resources Limited (ORD) and China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd (NFC) to participate in natural resource industry of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
SARCO is investing in bauxite mining project in Bolaven Plateau in Paksong district, Champasak Province.
