Iranian basketball team drawn in Sheikh Rashid Basketball tourney
DUBAI, Jan. 9 (MNA) -- Mahram has been drawn against titleholder Al-Riyadi of Lebanon in the Sheikh Rashid Basketball Tournament which will kick off on January 14 in Dubai.
The Iranian team is in Group A along with Lebanese Al-Riyadi, Al-Wahda of Syria, Egyptian El-Gezira and the UAE national team.
Syrian Al-Jalaa, Champville from Lebanon, Emirati Al-Nasr, Jordan’s Zain and Smart Gilas of Philippines are in Group B.
The tournament will end on January 24. Mahram won the Sheikh Rashid Tournament in 2006.
