Probe into Iran's Kahrizak incidents to be released Sunday

TEHRAN, Jan. 9 (MNA) – A top MP announced on Saturday that the findings of a parliamentary probe into the Kahrizak incidents will be read out to the lawmakers on Sunday.

The decision to release the findings was made by the Majlis presiding board, Kazem Jalali, the rapporteur of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told the Mehr News Agency.

The Kahrizak detention center, located south of Tehran, was closed on the order of Supreme Leader because of its substandard conditions and mistreatment of inmates held in the post-election protest.

The detention center came to limelight after three inmates were tortured to death. Mohsen Rouholamini, Mohammad Kamrani, and Amir Javadifar were the three men who died at Kahrizak.
