Iran: Asian states enjoy all factors for progress
Tehran, Jan 9, IRNA – The Asian states family enjoy all factors to reach progress and prosperity, Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, said on Saturday.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting during which he received a copy of the new Malaysian ambassador’s credentials.
Mottaki referred to the Middle East region as “the cradle of divine religions” and a region which had made great progresses during the past decades.
He said that Tehran and Kuala Lumpur enjoyed “good relations” and have great potentials for making further mutual cooperation.
According to Mottaki, Iran and Malaysia could work together in oil industries and infrastructural activities as well as building power plants.
Meanwhile, the new Malaysian ambassador hoped that Iran-Malaysia economic ties would be promoted similar to their political relations./end
