HEATING AND ELECTRICITY PRICES TO INCREASE

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Energy Authority decided Friday to pursue a decision on increasing the price of electricity for households beginning June 1, 2010. The prices of heating as well as electricity for entities will be increased from January 15.
The Energy Authority made a decision December 28, 2009, to increase the prices--of electricity by 17.35 percent and of heating by 14.5 percent--beginning January 15, 2010.
