Saudi Embassy in Egypt to start Blood Donation Campaign
Cairo, June 12 (SPA) - The Saudi Embassy in Egypt will start next Saturday a blood donation campaign on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day with participation of the Embassy's staff as well as Saudi attaches, offices and students.
Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham Mohieddin Nazer said in a statement here today that blood donors will be received at the headquarters of the national blood transfusion services, noting that the campaign will start next Saturday and will continue for three days from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
He said that the Embassy has taken all practical arrangements in
this regard and obtained the approval of the Egyptian authorities,
emphasizing that the organization of the campaign emanates from the
effective role of Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He urged Saudi students and citizens to participate in this campaign which reflects the sense of suffering of their brothers and their urgent need for assistance to prove the strength of the brotherly relationship between the brotherly peoples of Egypt and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
