SOCAR TRANSFERS SOME 1.5 BILLION MANATS TO STATE BUDGET IN 2009

Baku, January 7 (AzerTAc). The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic transferred AZN 532,562,000 to the state budget in December last year, an increase of 170.1% (AZN 216,478,000) from the same month a year ago. In total, SOCAR paid AZN 1,468,862,000 during 2009, up by 108.7% year-on-year.
SOCAR also provided AZN 11,962,000 in transfers to the State Social Protection Fund in December 2009.
