Iran to unveil many domestically made satellites in Feb.
Ashgabat, Jan 5, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that several homemade satellites will be unveiled during the auspicious 10-Day Dawn (Feb 1-11), marking the 31st victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
In an address to a group of Iranians residing in Turkmenistan, President Ahmadinejad said the indigenous satellites will be unveiled during the 10-Day Dawn celebrations and will be placed at high altitudes as of next year.
He said, “Undoubtedly, the most endeared nation worldwide is the Iranian nation. Today, name of Iran and Iranian shines globally. Definitely, Iran is a superpower in political domain and that’s reality all acknowledge.”
He added that Iran is in a position that no basic plan can be adopted in the region without Iranian view and agreement./end
