SALEH, BROWN DISCUSS COORDINATION FOR HOLDING LONDON CONFERENCE FOR

SANA'A, Jan. 05 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made a phone
call on Tuesday with the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown over
coordination between the two countries to hold a conference in
London to support Yemen.

Brown affirmed support of Britain and international community for
Yemen to face its problems in the top of which is terrorism.

He said that London conference would support Yemen in fields of
development and security in order to enhance capacities of Yemen to
fight terror, adding that security of Yemen is important for the
region and world.

For his part, president Saleh appreciated initiative of the UK prime
minister to hold such conference and the British support for the
development and security in Yemen.

He confirmed continuing efforts of Yemen to fight terrorism,
highlighting good level of the relations between Yemen and United
Kingdom.
