EXHIBITION FOR YEAR'S BEST ART OPENED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Exhibition for the 2009 best art opened in the exhibition hall of the Union of Mongolian Artists.
The exhibition displayed some 200 fine art, line drawing, sculpture, decoration art and Mongol painting art works.
“Most of the works sent to the exhibition in previous years could not satisfy the requirement of art work being made by amateurs. This year's feature is that a many of well-known professional artists sent their works to the exhibition,” an official of the Union of Mongolian Artists says.
The year of 2009 was fruitful for Mongolian artists and creative workers. A total of 44 art exhibitions were mounted in 2009 nationwide to display about 5,000 works of art. In addition, over 10 art exhibitions of Mongolian artists were organized abroad.
