PEOPLE MISSING IN SNOW STORMS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Some people went missing during 18-20 meters per second heavy snow storms that occured in provinces of Ovorkhangai, Dundgobi, Dornogobi, Omnogobi and Sukhbaatar in the first days of the new year.
A total of 18 out of 27 missed have been found safe, a spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency said. Rescue teams from the agency and local administration are continuing searching for other 9 people.
Most of them are claimed to be local herders, the spokesperson said.
