MA CHIEF CALLS ON JUDGES TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE
Sukabumi, West Java, June 11 (ANTARA) - Supreme Court (MA) Chairman Bagir Manan has asked judges to improve the quality of their performance in handling court cases, saying there were still judges who performed poorly.
"There were several cases handled by judges but they in fact created new problems. This should not have happened. Therefore, judges must improve the quality of their performance," Manan said here on Wednesday when inaugurating new buildings of the Cibadak District and Religious Courts in Sukabumi District.
Judges needed to improve their legal knowledge, skills and sensitivity in dealing with legal cases, he said.
He also reminded judges and their staffs to be always efficient and effective in serving the public.
