Renowned Iranian musicians to tour Europe, U.S.
TEHRAN, Jan. 4 (MNA) -- Renowned Iranian musicians accompanied by a number of other Iranian virtuosos will be giving concerts in the U.S., the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Kayhan Kalhor on kamancheh accompanied by Majid Khalaj on tombak will give improvisational performances in Paris on January 16.
Los Angeles will host the improvisational performance by the duet of Kalhor and Hossein Alizadeh on tar on February 10.
Kalhor and Alizadeh accompanied by virtuosos Parham Akhvas, Siamak Aqaii, Ruzbeh Rahimi, Nima Alizadeh, Alireza Hosseini, Siamak Jahangiri and vocalist Hamidreza Nurbakhsh will perform at the University of California, Berkeley on February 13.
California’s Saratoga will host their performances on February 15 and they will have a concert in Cleveland on February 20.
Alizadeh, Kalhor and Khalaj will give a concert in Amsterdam on May 2 as well as in Antwerp, Belgium on May 7. Paris will host their performance on May 9.
