Exports from Iran's PSEEZ at $735m
TEHRAN, Jan. 4 (MNA) – Some one million tons of petrochemicals worth $735 million have been exported from Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ), located in the southern province of Bushehr, in the Iranian month of Azar (November 22–December 21, 2009).
The amount shows a 32 percent increase in terms of volume and a 251 percent increase in terms of value in comparison to its preceding month, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.
Gas condensates, butane, propane, and sulfur were among the items exported to Asian countries.
Some 21,000 tons of products including equipment for refineries and petrochemical complexes, valued at $141 million, have also been imported in the mentioned period from the zone.
