Iran to host Fencing World Cup 2010
KISH, Jan. 4 (MNA) -- 2010 FIE Fencing World Cup will take place from January 9 to 10 in Kish Island, Iran.
The prestigious two-day competition will be held at the Olympic Sport Hall.
About 15 countries have announced their readiness to take part in the 9th edition of the world championship.
The U.S. fencing team which was expected to participate in the event will not come to Kish.
The fencers will compete in two weapons sabre and epee.
