Heads of three branches of Iranian govt. meet
TEHRAN, Jan. 4 (MNA) – Heads of the executive, legislative, and judicial powers met on Sunday in the Majlis.
“The joint meeting of the three heads of government was held in the office of Majlis speaker,” said Hassan Zamani, an advisor to Ali Larijani.
Zamani said the next meeting will be held at the presidential office.
The president, parliament speaker, and Judiciary chief meet every 15 days.
There was no word about the content of the talks. However, the recent developments including the December 27 incidents and the dispute between the Majlis and the administration over subsidy bill have featured in the talks.
