Pakistani PM vows support to Palestinians
Islamabad, Jan 2, IRNA -- Pakistan's Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has renewed Pakistan’s support to Palestinians in their struggle to establish an independent State with Holy Quds Al-Sharif as its definite capital.
“We will continue to stand beside our Palestinian brothers in their legitimate struggle,” Gilani said in a message of greetings to the Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority, Salam Fayyad, on the 45th Anniversary of Palestinian Revolution, falling on January 1.
Gilani said that Pakistan has all along these years been extending unequivocal support to the brotherly people of Palestine in their just cause for establishing an independent State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
Gilani in his message extended greetings to his Palestinian counterpart on the 45th Anniversary of the Palestinian Revolution on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan.
He expressed wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Palestinian people./end
