Iran's Parliament to discuss budget bill next week
TEHRAN, Jan. 1 (MNA) – Iranian vice-president in Majlis (parliament) affairs said the Iranian calendar year 1389 (March 2010-March 2011) budget bill will be offered for review to the Majlis next week.
Mohammad-Reza Mir-Tajeddini said that the National Development Fund will replace the Forex Reserve Fund.
He added that in order to implement policies of Article 44 of the Constitution measures have been taken to create a National Development Fund in the Fifth Development Plan (2010-2015) and the national budget.
“After creating the National Development Fund 20 percent of all oil revenues will be directly deposited in this fund,” he said.
Mir-Tajeddini explained that this fund will be used for productive investments, development projects and loans to the private sector.
