11% increase in Iran's textile, leather exports
TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (MNA) – Some $578 million worth of textile and leather products, including shoes, have been exported in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (began March 20, 2009).
There has been an 11 percent surge compared to the same period in the last year.
Some $125 million worth of clothing and $138 million of machine-made carpets have also been exported during the period, showing 76 percent and seven percent rise respectively.
