PRESIDENT: IN 2009 AZERBAIJAN CONTINUED DEVELOPING DESPITE ALL DIFFICULTIES
Baku, January 1 (AzerTAc). The year 2009 saw Azerbaijan continue developing despite all difficulties, President Ilham Aliyev said in his New Year message.
“2009 was a year of real test for world countries as it marked financial and economic crisis. World countries demonstrated their capabilities based on their natural resources and reforms they carried out.”
The President said: “And Azerbaijan did well. In 2009 Azerbaijan`s economy grew more than 9 percent which means a very good indicator for the year of crisis.”
