AZERI GRAND MASTER 7th IN FIDE RATING LIST
Baku, December 31 (AzerTAc). World Chess Federation, FIDE, has announced its latest rating list, ranking Azerbaijani grandmaster, European champion Vugar Hashimov 7th with 2759 points.
Another Azeri grandmasters Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Teymur Rajabov ranked 11th and 16th respectively.
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen tops the list with 2810 points, and is followed by Bulgarian Veselin Topalov with 2805 and Indian Viswanathan Anand with 2790 points.
