SOLIDARITY DAY OF WORLD AZERBAIJANIS MARKED IN NEW YORK
New York, 30 December (AzerTAc). Permanent representation of Azerbaijan to the United Nations has organized here an event to mark Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis.
Opening the event, Azerbaijan`s permanent representative to UN Agshin Mehdiyev spoke of the importance of the holiday in terms of contribution towards bringing together Azerbaijanis across the world.
President Ilham Aliyev`s message to World Azerbaijanis on the Solidarity Day was read out during the event.
The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Mountain Jews communities and workers of the permanent representation of Azerbaijan to the UN.
The participants saw a documentary entitled “President”.
