WAR VETERANS RECEIVE APARTMENTS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, 200 war veterans were handed over keys of new apartments according to the government decision.
In order to solve social welfare issues for people who participated in 1939 and 1945 wars, the government decided to allocate new apartments to 1,616 war veterans. Accordingly, 95 veterans received apartments in February this year and 66 in October.
The Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor is planning to allocate apartments to 300 veterans in January 2010. The remained part of apartments is expected to be given to veterans within 2010.
