PGCC calls for diplomatic settlement of Iran's nuclear dispute

Riyadh, June 10, (IRNA) The Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) in Jeddah on Monday evening called for diplomatic settlement of the dispute over Iran's nuclear program.
At their 107th meeting, the PGCC member states reiterated that all countries in the Middle-East, including Iran, have right to produce nuclear energy, calling for freeing the region from weapons of mass destruction, IRNA reported.
Referring to the Iraqi situation, the member states called for
respecting Iraqi national sovereignty and territorial integrity,
saying that no foreign state should interfere in Iraqi affairs.
In their final statement, the PGCC members called for dismantling the terrorists groups.
They condemned Israeli heinous crimes being perpetrated against
defenseless Palestinians.
The resolution required Israel to lift the economic blockade on the people living in Gaza Strip.
They expressed concern over Israeli economic and scientific
cooperation with the European Union (EU).
The Persian Gulf Cooperation Council has six members comprised of
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
