Danish actress arranging premiere of Iran’s “Fox Hunting” in Europe

TEHRAN, Dec. 29 (MNA) -- The Danish-Iranian actress of “Fox Hunting” Melissa Mehraban is making preparations for the film’s premiere in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

“I think this is a great opportunity for countries to be introduced to each other’s art and culture as well as for the Danish to be introduced to Iranian filmmakers,” she told the film co-producer Sahar, an international Iranian TV channel available on satellite.

She went on to explain that her motivation for acting in the film was because she was very interested in acting in an Iranian film in Persian and was also attracted by the challenging role presented by the character Veronica.

“I did my best to play the part of Veronica which was a well-rounded character involving important issues. I do hope audiences enjoy my acting,” she added.

The film narrates the adventures of two scholarly brothers Ali and Sohrab who travel to Yerevan to take part in an academic conference during which Sohrab gets acquainted with Veronica and this event affects their family life.

The film is co-production of Sahar TV and Mohsen Jahed which is shot in Tehran, Armenia and Isfahan.
