PRESIDENT VISITS MUSEUM



Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj visited the Palace Museum of Bogd Khan December 29--the day of the 98th anniversary of declaring the Mongolian Empire of Bogd Khan. There, he shared views with scholars and researchers.
Present at the meeting were Yo.Otgonbayar, a Minister of Education, Culture and Sciences; B.Enkhtuvshin, a president of the Academy of Sciences (AS); D.Choijamts, a Hamba Lama of the Gandantegchilen Monastery; D.Myagmardorj, a director of the Bogd Khan's Palace Museum; historians and scholars from the AS, Mongolia's State University (MSU), Mongolia's University of Education (MUE), and University of Science and Technology (MUST).
Beginning the meeting, a brief report delivered Dr Batsaikhan, a manager of the Institute of International Studies (IIS), on historical controvercial facts of the 1911's national revolution. After this, the State gave a speech, mentioning that the Mongolians are proud of their richest history.
The President appreciated the scholars' proposal to mark a day of freedom and independence of Mongolia on the December 29.
D.Myagmardorj thanked Mr Elbegdorj for his being the very first President to visit the Bogd Khan's Museum.
After the museum, the President, the Premier, the Speaker and other officials laid a wreath to the statue of State Seal.
