INNER MONGOLIA HELPS US
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Herdsmen of Omnogobi province has received 556 tons of fodder and hay amounting CNY1 million from Bayannuur city, middle and northern Uliastai villages of China's Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia. This news has been reported by the China's Xinhua news agency.
The assistance is rendered to the herdsmen in a view of their suffering drought that has been staying there for several seasons and snow that has covered pasture areas. The aid is given in frames of a contract established between the province's administration and the Inner Mongolia. Some 48 thousand people and 168 thousand heads of livestock are in a disaster situation.
The fodder and hay are gone to the herdsmen through China's “Fu Chuan” fodder producing and scientific company.
