POWER STATION TO BE ERECTED
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A thermal power station with a capability of 12 MWatt will be erected based on the "Ukhaa khudag" coke mine owned by the Energy Resources LLC. This station will be established by the "United Power" LLC within 2014.
The station will produce electricity of 60 million kWt/hour a year, and 10 per cent of it will go to the domestic needs, 54 million kWt/hour will be used by consumers. The new power station will use 45 thousand tons coal a year.
For erecting the power station, USD 25.1 million will be required. About USD five million, or 20 per cent, will be allotted from the domestic resources, 80 per cent of money will be collected from foreign loans.
The construction will be performed by the "MCS International" LLC, and the station's design has been made by China's "Chengdu Engineering" Co., Ltd.
