RUSSIA'S UPPER HOUSE SPEAKER TO DISCUSS RUSSI-POLISH RELATIONS IN WARSAW
WARSAW, June 10 (Itar-Tass) - Current status of Russian-Polish relations will come into the focal point of the talks between Sergei Mironov, the speaker of the upper house of Russian parliament, and President Lech Kaczynski, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Seim /Parliament/ Marshal Bronislaw Komorowski, Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz, and Foreign Minister Rodoslaw Sikorski. Tuesday afternoon, Mironov will visit the Warsaw memorial cemetery of Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation of Poland from Nazi troops in 1945, and will address the lecturers and students of the Supreme School of Economics. Later at night, he will return to Moscow. Mioronov is visiting Poland at the invitation of Senate Marshal Borusewicz. On the first day, Mironov made a trip to the cities of Gdansk and Sopot on the Baltic Sea.
