VIETNAMESE FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER VISITS LAOS

June 10 (KPL) - Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pham Van Khiem, visited Laos between 4 and 7 June in response to the invitation of Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith. Mr. Pham Van Khiem and his delegation met Lao counterparts at the 5th bilateral Meeting between the ministries of both countries in Vientiane. This visit would enhance the special relations and comprehensive co-operation between the two nations, particularly the co-operation between the ministries. Mr. Pham Van Khiem and his delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the State President of Laos Mr. Choummaly Sayasone in Vientiane
