AZERBAIJAN-UAE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION`S 2ND MEETING HELD IN ABU DHABI

Baku, 26 December (AzerTAc). The second meeting of Azerbaijan-United Arab Emirates intergovernmental commission on economic, trade and technical cooperation was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Azerbaijani delegation led by economic development minister Shahin Mustafayev attended the meeting which focused on the current state of and prospects for economic cooperation between the two countries.
Shahin Mustafayev and his UAE counterpart Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori signed a protocol on the outcomes of the meeting.
The document envisages expansion of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, trade, ICT, tourism, healthcare, education, industry, energy, customs, finance and transport spheres. It also provides for studying opportunities for making mutual investments.
As part of the visit, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding.
The document includes expansion of bilateral ties, promotion of cooperation between businessmen and organization of business forums and exhibitions.
