CHIEF OF MARITIME AUTHORITY BRIEF MEDIA ON SEA TRANSPORT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Baku, December 26 (AzerTAc). The State Maritime Administration chief Gudrat Gurbanov gave a news conference at the headquarters of the New Azerbaijan Party to tell about progress the authority has achieved so far and outstanding tasks.
Gurbanov stressed the exceptional role of national leader in developing sea transport in the country. Due to the successful policy of national leader successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has grown into one of the powerful seafaring nations.
Gurbanov said construction of the International trade seaport will enhance the role of Azerbaijan as the international transportation hub.
Maritime authority chief said the shipyard, which will be built to the modern standards, is one of the projects developing sea transport.
Gurbanov noted established good cooperation with International Labor Organization, European Maritime Safety Agency, Black Sea Economic Cooperation organization and other international organizations.
