IDB’s 33RD ANNUAL MEETING HELD IN SAUDI ARABIA

Baku, 10 June, (AzerTAj) Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economic Development Mr. Heydar Babayev attended the 33rd annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) held in Saudi Arabia’s city of Jeddah, June 3-4. The event, which brought together officials from 56 IDB member states was presided by Bahrain’s Finance Minister. The meeting participants heard the annual reports of the Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF), International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector. The participant decided to hold the 34th annual meeting in Turkmenistan and 35th in Baku. Minister Heydar Babayev met with IDB head Ahmad Mahammad Ali to discuss the further prospects of cooperation.IDB head is expected to arrive in Baku on June 12 to attend the first conference of the Caspian International Investment Company.
