MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONDUCTED DEMOCRATICALLY, YAP DEPUTY CHAIR
Baku, December 23 (AzerTAc). “Municipal election in Azerbaijan was held in free, transparent and democratic atmosphere,” Deputy Chairman, Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov told a news conference Wednesday.
Ali Ahmadov said municipal election marked a new chapter in the political history of Azerbaijan, adding election was conducted normally. According to him, the third municipal election constitute a landmark in democratic development in Azerbaijan
Ahmadov noted YAP seriously prepared for the municipal election. It allowed to conduct a successful election campaign.
“We believe YAP candidates have secured a convincing victory in the election,” added Ahmadov.
