Ramazanzadeh gets four-day leave from prison

TEHRAN, Dec. 24 (MNA) – Abdollah Ramazanzadeh, the deputy secretary general of the Islamic Iran Participation Party, has been given a four-day leave from jail.


The leave came on Wednesday on a bail of about $800,000.


He was arrested a few days after the presidential election and charged with inciting post-election unrest.


Ramazanzadeh served as government spokesman under the Khatami administration from 2001 to 2005. He was also the governor of Kordestan Province from 1997 to 2001.
