‘ALL NECESSARY CONDITIONS CREATED IN AZERBAIJAN FOR INT`L OBSERVERS TO MONITOR MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS’
Baku, December 23 (AzerTAc). “All necessary conditions were created in Azerbaijan for international observers to monitor the municipal elections”, head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel said. “We do not officially monitor the voting process, but receive data from NGOs and present it to the Central Election Commission,” he noted.
“So far, we have not received any complaints about serious irregularities, but we have information that some voters cast ballots not in one, but several polling stations,” Cankorel said. He added the issue is being investigated in the CEC, and “I hope that everything will be OK”.
