KAZAKH PRESIDENT RECEIVES HEADS OF DIPLOMATIC COPRS
Baku, 23 December (AzərTAc). President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received heads of the diplomatic corps in Ak Orda Palace. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Latif Gandilov also attended the meeting.
Mr. Nazarbayev said during Kazakhstan`s presidency at the OSCE in 2010, the country will combat terrorism, illegal drugs turnover, support efforts on stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan and focus on other urgent problems. Kazakh President briefed about oil strategy, new oil and gas pipelines.
Mr. Gandilov said there is necessity to create a diplomatic club in Astana to organize numerous concerts and exhibitions.
