S.KOREA WANTS TO DEVELOP COOPERATION IN RAILWAY SECTOR

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Vice Speaker N.Enkhbold received Wednesday Lee Byung-suk, a chairman of the National Assembly's Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Committee.
The Vice Speaker mentioned that Mongolia has reached a start of great works to develop its all sectors based on benefits from the largest mineral deposits. He underlined an importance of boosting the mining sector with a development of railway.
Mr Enkhbold expressed his satisfaction with an aim to determine further directions of the bilateral and mutually beneficial collaboration in the railway sector put forward at a consultative meeting of the Mongolia-Korea cooperation in railway sector. The meeting is running these days.
Lee Byung-suk thanked the Vice Speaker for the audience and said that the railway sector has significantly contributed to the development of his country. He said S.Korea has a willingness to make investments in Mongolia to develop its railway in connection with the mining sector's boost.
The Korean side said it has shaped its directions in cooperating with Mongolia in railway sphere and said it is time to start activities of this cooperation. Then he expressed a hope that the Vice Speaker will back the collaboration.
