Moussa : No report proves Iran deviated from peaceful nuclear program

Cairo, Dec 23, IRNA – Secretary-General of the Arab League said on Wednesday that none of the IAEA’ reports or statements indicates that Iran’s nuclear program has been military oriented.

Amr Moussa made the remarks in an exclusive interview with IRNA correspondent in Cairo, Egypt.

He reiterated that Tehran does not seek military purposes in its nuclear activities.

Moussa further condemned nuclear programs of the Zionist regime which he referred to as non-civilian.

Referring to his Tuesday talks with Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, he said the Arab League supports Tehran’s right to pursue nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

On the issue of Palestine, he voiced the league's support for resolve of the Palestinians problems through all-out cooperation with other states./end
