New head for Iran's Arts Academy appointed
Tehran, Dec 23, IRNA – Iran's Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution in its meeting here on Tuesday evening appointed Ali Moalem Damghani as the new head of the country's Arts Academy.
Moalem substitutes Mirhossein Mousavi who had been president of the academy since 1999.
Secretary and spokesperson of the Supreme Council Mohammad Reza Dezfuly declared the appointment and added that three new people have been chosen for membership in the academy./end
