AZERI DEPUTY JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS COE DELEGATION
Baku, 22 December (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s deputy minister of justice Vilayet Zahirov has met a delegation of the Council of Europe`s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities who arrived to monitor municipal elections set for tomorrow.
Zahirov informed the CoE delegation about the Azeri government`s democratic reforms and work to improve the activities of local self-governance bodies.
He praised the government`s cooperation with international organizations, in particular, the Council of Europe.
