Real peace, materialized only through all-out cooperation: Iran
Tokyo, Dec 22, IRNA – Visiting Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili said here on Tuesday that real peace would only be materialized through combat against oppression and all-out cooperation among world nations.
Jalili, who is on an official visit to Japan at the invitation of the Japanese government, made the remarks in an address to the Sasakawa Peace Foundation.
He underlined the need for administering justice in the society in order to establish peace throughout the globe.
The nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) was ratified over 40 years ago, Jalili said, regretting that the world is still witnessing expansion of nuclear weapons by big powers.
On Iran’s peaceful nuclear programs, he said all the country’s nuclear activities are under direct supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), therefore, there is no reason for concern of other countries./end
